STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Mallory Lewis and Lambchop, spokespersons for Rock the Goats and Heifer International, visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to talk about the first “Rock the Goats” event.

The event will celebrate Heifer International’s work for the past 70 years. Heifer . is a non-profit group dedicated to ending hunger throughout the world by donating animals to villagers in developing countries, as well as to Americans in 13 States.

The recipients are taught how to use the by-products (the milk, the eggs, the wool, the manure, etc.) to benefit them and their families for the present generation as well as for the next.

“Rock the Goats” will be held on Sunday, June 8 at the CBS Radford Lot, 4024 Radford Avenue, in Studio City from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Pre-sale tickets are $20 and $25 at the door. Children under 5 are free.
