2 Lanes Shut Down After Body Found On Garden Grove Freeway
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A body was discovered in the traffic lanes of the Garden Grove 22-Freeway in Santa Ana on Monday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher.
The discovery of the body was reported at 4:17 a.m. in the 2 and 3 lanes of the westbound Garden Grove Freeway, just east of Main Street.
The CHP dispatcher did not know the body's gender, age or condition.
A SigAlert was issued, which resulted in the 2 and 3 lanes being shut down, along with the Grand Avenue on-ramp during the CHP's investigation and body removal.
