ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Sky High Gal won the $75,000 Mizdirection Stakes for fillies and mares by 1 1/4 lengths at Santa Anita on Sunday.

Ridden by Hall of Famer Mike Smith, Sky High Gal ran 6 1/2 furlongs on the downhill turf course in 1:13.17 and paid $12.60, $6.20 and $4.60.

Biorhythm returned $5.40 and $5, while Qiaona was another 1 1/2 lengths back in third and paid $5 to show in her first race in six months.

The victory, worth $46,800, increased Sky High Gal’s career earnings to $232,533, with five wins in nine starts.
