LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a motorist involved in a hit-and-run that severely injured a pedestrian in the Silver Lake area on Wednesday night.

The hit-and-run occurred at about 8:35 p.m., injuring an 18-year-old man as he crossed Fletcher Drive, just north of Larga Avenue.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored BMW.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
