Wife Of Missing Rossmoor Man Offers $10K Reward

ROSSMOOR (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said Wednesday the wife of a missing Rossmoor man is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to his whereabouts.

Michael A. Gal was last heard from on May 5, around 4 p.m., when he texted his family, said Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock.

Gal's vehicle was found by Long Beach police three days later near El Dorado Park, the lieutenant said.

The missing man's family said they were very concerned because Gal was dealing with "unusual stress" prior to his disappearance and it was uncharacteristic for him to go missing, Hallock said.

The cause of the stress was not disclosed.

Gal is white, 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, with blue eyes and salt-and-pepper hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call investigators at (714) 647-7000 or OC Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS, or (855) 847-6227.
