Public's Help Sought In Search For Missing Victorville Teen

VICTORVILLE (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 17-year-old male who ran from medical staff after being admitted to a local hospital.

Julio Sanchez was transported to Victor Valley Hospital Sunday, and was last seen voluntarily leaving the facility Monday at approximately 9:35 a.m.

Investigators say he is known to frequent the downtown Victorville area and the area of Stoddard Wells Road and has not made contact with family members.

Police fear Sanchez may be a danger to himself.

He is described as Hispanic with brown eyes, standing 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 160 pounds. Investigators say he has a tattoo of a marijuana leaf on his left forearm and was wearing dark shorts and no shirt when he was last seen.
