1 Hurt As Elderly Driver Slams Into Woodland Hills Trader Joe's
WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — At least one person was hurt as an elderly driver slammed into a Trader Joe's in Woodland Hills Saturday, authorities said.
The injured person, a pregnant woman, was taken to the hospital as a precaution, officials said.
The elderly driver reportedly hit the gas instead of the brake causing the accident.
The accident occurred about 1:30 p.m. at the Trader Joe's located at 21055 Venture Boulevard, according to a desk officer at the LAPD's Valley Traffic Division.
The car fully entered the store, police said.
No word if the driver was cited.
