STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Lonnie Jordan, the lead singer of War, stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to tell viewers about their tour and new album.

WAR will release Monday, May 19 their first new studio album in 20 years titled “Evolutionary” on Universal Music Enterprises.

The new album is two discs — the first of which is all new material and the second being their re-mastered 1976 Platinum “Greatest Hits” album, which has never before been available on CD or digitally.

They are also currently co-headlining the “Up In Smoke” tour, an interactive music and comedy show, which will stopping in Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre on May 24.
