Man Nabbed For Allegedly Groping Women In Tustin

TUSTIN ( — Authorities have arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly groping four women and a girl in Orange County.

Andrew Dassian, of Tustin, allegedly sexually assaulted the victims in separate incidents over the past month, according to the Tustin Police Department.

He was taken into police custody Sunday evening after one of his alleged victims spotted him walking around an apartment complex and got her husband to detain him until law enforcement arrived.

Dassian was arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of sexual battery, as police believe he’s the same man who several women say has groped them in the groin or backside. In once case, the suspect attempted to kiss a victim, Lt. Robert Wright said.

The attacks were reported in various locations across Tustin and at different times. Most of the victims were walking or jogging when they were allegedly molested.

Anyone with information on the case was asked to call Detective Pam Hardacre at (714) 573-3248.
