Pickup Truck Slams Into Huntington Beach Gas Station And Takes Out Pump

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said a pickup truck slammed into a Huntington Beach gas station Sunday evening and took out a pump.

Officials said fortunately no explosion or fire occurred.

The pickup truck reportedly overturned after striking a curb.

The accident happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. at Adams Avenue and Magnolia Street.

Firefighters said the pickup driver struck the curb, went airborne, struck the station roof, overturned and crashed into a wall.

One person, believed to be the driver, was transported to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
