Bowling Alley Employee In Ventura Arrested For Allegedly Molesting 10-Year-Old Girl

VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — A 54-year-old bowling alley employee in Ventura has been arrested after he allegedly molested a 10-year-old girl earlier this month.

Adolfo "AC" Cortez, of Oxnard, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of child annoyance and molestation for an incident that occurred the evening of April 19 at Buena Lanes bowling alley and for a previous incident that was under investigation, Detective Corp. Kenny Welch of the Ventura Police Department.

The girl's mother alerted authorities hours after the incident allegedly took place.

Detectives are concerned that since Cortez has been working alongside children that there may be other potential victims. Anyone with information was asked to call Welch at (805) 339-4472.
