In The Garden With Nick Federoff: The Proper Way To Dig A Hole

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Green expert Nick Federoff appeared on KCAL9 News on Saturday morning with tips on how to properly dig a hole.

Federoff recommends using an ergonomic shovel and a measuring tape to make the job easy.

"When we dig a hole, we want to dig it twice the width of the container and you want to bury it as deep as the top of the soil in the container. It's not a bad idea to measure it out," he said.
