4 Injured After Ambulance Rollover Crash In Signal Hill

SIGNAL HILL (CBSLA.com) — A patient was trapped Monday after a rollover accident involving an ambulance.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department was notified of the accident at 4:39 a.m. near E. Spring Street and Orange Avenue in Signal Hill, officials said.

The ambulance, which was not traveling with its lights and sirens on, collided with a black Lincoln sedan in the intersection and rolled, trapping one patient inside.

The drivers of the ambulance and Lincoln, along with another person, were also injured.

Four patients were transported to Long Beach Memorial Hospital in with injuries ranging from minor to critical.
