Man Arrested For Meth Possession Dies While In Custody
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A 43-year-old man arrested for meth possession died while he was in custody, authorities said Monday.
Rolando Sanchez, along with a woman, was arrested in Long Beach April 10 on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine.
Sanchez was booked and set to be arraigned April 14. On April 13, however, a jailer said Sanchez was acting unusual and he was transported to a hospital, police said.
The suspect died two days later.
The cause of death is unknown.
