TUSTIN (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say an attic fire caused extensive damage to a Tustin home on Saturday morning.

Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said that firefighters were dispatched to the home in the 100 block of North B Street about 7:40 a.m.

The fire was put out in just under 20 minutes but caused $75,000 worth of damage to the structure and $40,000 to its contents, the fire captain told City News Service.

Concialdi said some of the contents included high-end antiques.

“[Firefighters] did a good job of putting salvage covers and saving them,” he added. “Some of the antiques sustained some water damage — a handful.”

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
