Crews Battle Small Brush Fire In Griffith Park
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters battled a small brush fire in Griffith Park early Wednesday morning.
The fire, which was about 100 feet by 100 feet in size, was reported 2:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Vermont Canyon Road, near the observatory, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
It took 44 firefighters 67 minutes to extinguish the flames.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
It was unclear how the fire started.
