3 Displaced After Insecticide Fogger Blast In Van Nuys Apartment

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Three people have been displaced after an insecticide fogger caused a small explosion in a Van Nuys apartment Sunday.

The Red Cross is assisting those affected by the blast, reported at 15025 Vanowen Street Sunday afternoon, according to LAFD spokesperson Brian Humphrey.

Humphrey said a window broke due to a small explosion in one unit of the two-story building due to improper use of the fogger.

No injuries were reported.

There was no evacuation.
