$50K Reward Offered In 2012 South LA Murder

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A $50,000 reward was offered Friday for information leading to the arrest of the suspect responsible for the murder of a 40-year-old father of four.

Paul T. James was killed on the night of Oct. 11, 2012, while walking in the 9600 block of South Hoover Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"He was approached by an individual wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The suspect fired several rounds at the victim, causing his death," officials said.

Detectives said there was no motive for the murder and that they have exhausted all leads.
