Power Outage Disrupts Metro Gold Line Service In South Pasadena

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Metro Gold Line service was interrupted Wednesday due to a power outage.

Service between South Pasadena and Highland Park was suspended for several hours due to the power failure, according to officials.

Electricity was partially restored by 10:45 a.m., but buses were still being used to shuttle passengers between the two stations.

Delays were also being experienced between Del Mar and SW Museum, according to Metro Los Angeles' Twitter account.

It was not known how long trains would need to share the Pasadena-bound track at Highland Park.
