4 Hikers Rescued From Eaton Canyon

EATON CANYON (CBSLA.com) — A crew utilized a Sheriff’s Department helicopter to rescue four hikers Wednesday stranded in Eaton Canyon.

Los Angeles County Fire received a call at 2:11 p.m. that the group was stuck on a cliff.

The Eaton Canyon area, located northeast of Pasadena, is a popular spot for hiking – and for air rescues. Several hikers have gotten stranded over the years on a particularly steep trail that leads to a waterfall.
