RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) — A Rancho Cucamonga school was placed on lockdown Tuesday following a report of a man with a gun near campus.

KCAL9’s Kevin Takumi reports police responded to Day Creek Intermediate School, located in the 12000 block of Coyote Drive in Etiwanda, on Tuesday afternoon.

Police cleared each room of the school before they began releasing students at approximately 4:40 p.m.

Nothing suspicious was found.
