Transient Drowns In Pool At Airport Hotel, Police Say

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police say a transient drowned early Monday morning in a pool at a hotel near the Los Angeles International Airport.

The incident was reported just after 1:20 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, located at 9750 S. Airport Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The man was pulled from the pool by guests and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The victim's death is being investigated as accidental, according to the coroner's office.
