Man Reportedly Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound At Van Nuys Firing Range

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A man reportedly died Sunday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest at an indoor firing range in the San Fernando Valley.

The incident occurred around 2:25 p.m. in the 16100 block of Cohasset Street in Van Nuys, according to LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera. Police have not identified the location, but a business called The Target Range is located at 16140 Cohasset.

Police say the man was in his 50s. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

No further details were immediately available.
