Man Reportedly Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound At Van Nuys Firing Range

VAN NUYS ( — A man reportedly died Sunday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest at an indoor firing range in the San Fernando Valley.

The incident occurred around 2:25 p.m. in the 16100 block of Cohasset Street in Van Nuys, according to LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera. Police have not identified the location, but a business called The Target Range is located at 16140 Cohasset.

Police say the man was in his 50s. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
