Report: Pau Gasol's Career With Lakers May Be Over

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - The Spanish guard Pau Gasol may have already played his final game in a Lakers uniform.

According to the LA Times, the Los Angeles Lakers are leaning towards sitting out their star center for the remainder of the season due to recurring case of vertigo.

Gasol, who has spent the last seven seasons with the Lakers, has missed five games to the illness.

The seven-footer will become a free agent after the season where he made $19.3 million.

Gasol averaged 17.7 points in his career with the Lakers which began in the 2007-2008 season where he was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies.
