Police Searching For Skateboarding Groper In Monrovia

MONROVIA (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for a skateboarder who groped two women in separate sexual battery incidents this week in Monrovia.

The male suspect hugged a woman tightly and then slapped her on the buttocks in the 700 block of South Fifth Avenue around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The next afternoon, the suspect grabbed a woman's breasts while she was walking in the 800 block of West Chestnut Avenue.

"The suspect commented on the victim's breast size and kicked her in the leg. He then left the scene with a skateboard in his hand," police said.

Authorities described the suspect as 16 to 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the crime was asked to call police at (626) 256-8000.
