Authorities Try To Identify Pedestrian Who Has Severe Head Trauma Following Crash

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Riverside are trying to identify the man who was struck by a car Friday evening.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Van Buren Blvd and Arlington Avenue just after 8:15 p.m. following a report of a car hitting a pedestrian.

They determined that a late model Ford SUV traveling West on Arlington Ave struck the man and caused him to have severe head trauma.

The victim remains in critical condition. The man's identity has not yet been determined.

Officials are hoping the public can help ID the man. The victim is described as Latino or Asian, in his late teens to early 20's with no tattoos. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 190 pounds. He has short black hair and a thin mustache.
