Oxnard Boy, 15, In Serious Condition After Being Shot In The Back

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Officials say that a 15-year-old Oxnard boy was shot in the back Friday evening.

Police arriving to a shots fired call in the area of Courtland Street and Clara Street located the victim, a Latino, suffering from a gunshot wound to his back.

The unidentified teen was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center. He is listed in serious but stable condition, according to the Oxnard Police Department.
