LAPD Officer Injured During Confrontation With Suspect In Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) – An LAPD officer was injured Friday during a confrontation with a suspect in Boyle Heights.

The incident took place at 4:35 a.m. near the intersection of East Olympic Boulevard and Grande Vista Avenue.

The officer, whose name has not been released, suffered a minor injury and was taken to a local hospital.

He was apparently struck by the suspect.
