L.A. Zoo Welcomes New King, Queen Of The Jungle
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — There is a new king and queen of the Los Angeles Zoo.
Hubert and Kalisa, both 15-year-old African lions, made their public debut Friday morning in Griffith Park.
The couple came to the Southland from the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.
The companions of 10 years were introduced to their new exhibit for the first time on Tuesday and are getting acclimated to their surroundings.
The zoo made several renovations to the lion habitat, as the exhibit had been without felines for several years, officials said.
