ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A fundraiser was held Friday for  the K9 officer critically wounded last week.

The fundraiser for Bruno was held at Tony’s Deli in Anaheim (613 S. Anaheim Boulevard.)

It began at 6 p.m.

Organizers said 10 percent of all sales, plus a bonus, would be donated to the dog’s recovery.

Michele Gile, reporting for KCAL9, said there was also a donation box for patrons to make additional contributions.

In addition, the popular eatery said they were adding a Bruno Hero Special to the permanent menu.
