Woman's Body Discovered Floating In Lake At Boyle Heights Park
BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — A woman's body was discovered Thursday floating in a lake at a park in Boyle Heights.
The victim, later identified as 36-year-old transient Lorenza Arellano, was spotted by joggers around 10 a.m. at Hollenbeck Park at 4th and St. Louis streets, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Witnesses immediately called authorities.
Detectives were investigating the death as a homicide.
