LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass will be closed Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The closure stretches from the Ventura (101) Freeway to Getty Center Drive, Metro said.

Ramp closures will begin at 7 p.m. with a full freeway closure from midnight to 5 a.m. each night.

Drivers are encouraged to use Sepulveda Boulevard as an alternate.

The closure is part of the more than $1 billion Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project.
