BREA (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday were searching for two suspects wanted for the armed robbery an Orange County Goodwill store.
The crime occurred around 6:30 p.m. Monday at the store, located in the 600 block of S. Brea Boulevard, authorities said.
Two men entered the store and loitered for about 30 minutes before approaching the cashier as if to make a purchase.
“When the cashier opened the register the second suspect pulled a handgun from his waistband, which fired once into the floor,” Lt. Darrin Devereux said. “The suspects grabbed an unknown amount of cash and fled the store.”
They were last seen running southbound on Brea Boulevard.
The suspects are both described as white or Hispanic, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with heavy builds.
The man who fired the gun had tattoos on his throat and the back of his neck.
