Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 21)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The weather will to stay cool and cloudy for Southern California as we head into this first weekend of spring.

Temps will be running 4 to 6 degrees below average for this time of year.

The marine layer is running over 3000 feet deep and that will translate into a drizzle chance again Saturday morning.

Look for some slight warming on Sunday and Monday before another front moves into Northern California. That will bring temperatures down again on Tuesday and Wednesday.

By the end of next week the long range forecast models are hinting at rain again, but it's still iffy.

Basin - mid to upper 60s

Valleys - mid 60s

Mtns - low 50s

Deserts - upper 60s
