28 Culinary Experts From Around The Globe Come To LA For 'All-Star Chef Classic'

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Twenty-eight chefs from around the globe will create mouthwatering creations this weekend at L.A. Live.

KCAL9's Cristy Fajardo reports that the All-Star Chef Classic is a modern food event that will take place at the never-before-seen Restaurant Stadium, which will seat 250 fans in a close, VIP setting.

The chefs, including the acclaimed Alain Passard, will cook together to create four gastronomic concoctions: The French Masters Dinner presented by Fisher & Paykel, All-Star Lunch, Grill & Chill presented by dineLA and Savor the Season presented by Melissa's Produce.

"A lot of people in America say New York is better than Los Angeles. But guess what? Maybe it was two years ago. But it's 2014. In Los Angeles now, we have amazing, young chefs who are very creative," Chef Ludo Lefebvre said.
