WINNETKA (CBSLA.com) — A standoff between a former sheriff’s deputy and a Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team ended peacefully Tuesday morning.

Police officers responded to reports of a possibly suicidal woman at about 10:30 p.m. Monday at a residence in the 7000 block of Fulbright Avenue, according to Officer Kevin Archer.

SWAT officers were called out about 1:30 a.m Tuesday morning before the unidentified woman was taken into custody without incident at about 5:20 a.m., police said.
