Paroled Registered Sex Offender Pleads Not Guilty To Exposing Himself In Public

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A paroled registered sex offender pleaded not guilty Monday after being charged with exposing himself in public to women throughout Orange County.

Patrick Dodenhoff, 45, is charged with eight felony counts of indecent exposure for incidents that allegedly took place between March 5 and Tuesday, according to court records.

Dodenhoff had been released from prison in December and was reportedly living in San Luis Obispo, according to Brea police. The parolee was on GPS monitoring, however, he is alleged to have removed his device on March 3, police said.

Dodenhoff is accused of exposing himself to a woman at 2:30 p.m. at the Brea Mall on Monday, March 10.

Investigators suspect he exposed himself over the past week in cities and neighborhoods including Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Missions Viejo, San Diego and Torrance.

If convicted, he may face a maximum sentence of 11 years and eight months in prison.
