Arrest Made in Connection With Burbank Double Stabbing

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Police Sunday announced an arrest in connection with a stabbing of two people in Burbank.

The suspect, identified by authorities as 24-year-old Eric Petrossian of Burbank, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Authorities received a call reporting the stabbing Saturday afternoon just before 4 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Angeleno Avenue.

When they arrived on scene, they located two men, both in their early 20s, suffering from multiple stab wounds. However, authorities have since determined that the men were stabbed in the area of Orange Grove and Sunset Canyon.

Both victims were taken to area hospitals in serious condition.

The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are still unclear.

Petrossian was released on bail early Sunday morning.
