SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have released the identity of a 51-year-old pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana this week.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a written statement that Maria Vancinijavier was hit by a vehicle about 8:12 p.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of W. 1st Street.
