Man Dies While Hiking In Hollywood Hills Park

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Officials said a man became ill and died Sunday afternoon while hiking in a Hollywood Hills park.

The incident was reported around 2:20 p.m. in Runyon Canyon Park, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

A helicopter was deployed for a possible hoist operation, but the man died at the scene, Humphrey said.
