Baldy Mesa House Fire Causes $400K In Damage
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 3,000-square-foot home sustained considerable damage Saturday after flames ripped through the structure in the Baldy Mesa area of San Bernardino County.
The fire at the single-family home in the 11000 block of Braceo Street erupted about 10:36 p.m., according to a statement issued by the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters said it took units about 40 minutes to gain control of the blaze, and just under four hours to completely extinguish the blaze.
The statement said the blaze caused an estimated $400,000 in damage to the home and its contents.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
