Pets2Love: Matilda

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — This week's Pet 2 Love is Matilda!

Matilda is a 2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier who was rescued from a shelter where she was impounded in November as evidence in an animal abuse investigation.

On Dec. 27, 2013, she gave birth to a litter of six puppies at the shelter.

Both mom and her pups were held there for months as the animal abuse investigation was conducted.

The family was finally released in mid-January and have been living in a foster home.

Matilda, who weights 45 pounds, has been separated from her puppies since they are now eating solid food.

She is a loving dog and loads of fun with a fantastic personality!

Matilda is available for immediate adoption through the Bark Avenue Foundation, (818)300-3889.
