Suspect Hurt In Officer-Involved Shooting In South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A suspect was hurt in an officer-involved shooting Thursday in South Los Angeles.
Shots were reportedly fired at the intersection of San Pedro and 97th streets around 5 p.m. after police encountered a male suspect.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. There was no word on his condition.
A handgun was recovered at the scene, according to authorities.
No officers were injured in the incident.
