With Increasing Rain, LAPD Steps Up Hunt For Missing Elderly Man

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — With rain for the past 24 hours, the LAPD is stepping up the hunt for a missing elderly man they worry may be out in the elements

Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating 74-year-old Kenneth Morris who, they said, is also in need of ongoing medical care.

Morris was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on Friday leaving an adult health care facility in the 2300 block of West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles police said in a department statement.

Police said he was possibly wearing a gray hoodie, a blue shirt with "Pacific Sales" on the front, brown pants, and white shoes.

Morris is a black male with white hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs roughly 160 pounds.

Police said he is known to frequent fast-food restaurants, such as McDonalds, and to also walk to Westminster Presbyterian Church on West Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles.
