Deputies Probe Fatal Shooting In Carson

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Carson.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement that the victim was shot about 2:29 a.m. in the 2700 block of East 220th Street.

When authorities arrived on scene, they located the victim. The statement said he was pronounced dead at a hospital.

No further information was available.
