1 Dead, 1 Wounded In San Bernardino Shooting

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say two men were shot, one fatally, while standing outside a residence in San Bernardino.

Neighbors reported hearing gunshots in the 1100 block of N. G. Street around 3:07 Saturday morning.

Responding officers found one man -- deceased -- lying on the curb and another man -- wounded -- lying in the front yard of a nearby home on N. F. Street.

Each of the victim's had sustained at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The deceased has been identified as Derrick Terrell Moses, 33, a transient. The survivor is identified as Joseph Francisco Sigler, 27, a resident of San Bernardino.

Police believed the men were shot while standing together on G. Street. Authorities theorized that Sigler--  found on F. Street -- collapsed there after trying to flee.

The suspects are described as Latinos in dark clothing.

Sigler was taken via ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition and expected to survive.

A  motive for the shooting has not been established.
