Man Killed In Solo-Car Crash On Rain-Slicked Street In Palmdale
PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man was killed Friday in a single-vehicle collision on a rain-slicked street in Palmdale.
California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi says the fatal crash on Avenue S happened about 11 a.m. about a mile west of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Semaj Jayon Chapman of Palmdale.
Chapman was declared dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remained under investigation, authorities said.
