Nearly 30K Angelenos Without Power Due To Storm

[UPDATE 10 p.m. Friday SCE said 21,o00 customers were without power.]

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Approximately 30,000 LADWP and Southern California Edison customers were without power Friday due to the rain.

The numbers included about 18,000 SCE customers and another 9,800 from LADWP.

The following areas and neighborhoods have the highest number of customers impacted:

Reseda: 3,400
Glassell Park: 1,500
Pacific Palisades: 800
Echo Park: 700
Encino: 700
Beverly Crest: 700
Brentwood: 600

Crews were working throughout the city to restore power to customers as quickly and safely as possible.
