Van Nuys Chiropractor Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Female Patient
VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A Van Nuys chiropractor is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on charges he sexually assaulting a female patient.
Nosrat Ghodousi, 59, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on a count each of sexual penetration with a foreign object and sexual battery by fraud, according to the District Attorney's Office.
Prosecutors say Ghodousi fondled and sexually assaulted an unnamed patient on Dec. 20 during what was supposed to be an exam at his Van Nuys office.
Ghodousi was charged on Jan. 30 and is free on $125,000 bail. If convicted as charged, he faces a maximum sentence of nine years in prison.
